Windows bring in crisp air to a stale room. Windows open on to a vast and sweeping landscape. Books do the same for the mind. Books bring light into the mind. Books stir a fresh breeze of thought in a stale mind. Books open new horizons to the mind. " "Reading is second nature to a Muslim. The Qur'an's first words: "Iqra!" teaches us the lesson to "Read!"" Hence, the purpose of this group is to revive this beautiful act of reading in all it's endlessly beneficial and enlightening forms. Now we can share all the latest and greatest thoughts, reviews and curiosities on all things solely... BOOKS! :D A special mention to a really creative member of this club who helped us decide a name for it- Miss Sumaiya Naseem! :D (everyone! Go and purchase her amazing book if you haven't already!!). Feel free to talk about the last book you've read, your thoughts on it, or perhaps a book you wish to read but don't have/own. Awesome thing is, that a fellow clubber may have that particular book and you may finally have the opportunity to read the book you've always wanted to! Discuss about your favourite authors of all time or those that everyone always seems to like but you never got around to really understand why. Rant or Rave, this is your time to express away that intellectual bookie in you in this bookworm community! :D Along the way, who knows if the way you think about classical literature takes a complete 360 or you find something common with someone you never imagined! This is the place where we can let go of our worries, enjoy the pleasure of reading on a whole different level, exercise ourselves intellectually, and meet individuals who share the same love for books as you do! :) Have fun! ♥
