[close] I've created this group for people who wish to sharpen or maintain their critical thinking skills by reading books on the process of thinking itself, as well as books on topics which merit thorough critical analysis.

[close] A book club for everyone interested in reading novels that use fiction to comment on politics, political systems and ideologies. We read the classics to contemporary fiction, from Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four to Alderman's The Power and everything in between. All members are welcome to suggest new reads. [close] This is a new book club for anyone interested in politics, who enjoys reading political non-fiction. We will discuss some of the biggest political books, mainly focusing on new books but with the occasional classic. The initial shelf may have a predominant focus on US and UK books but we are very open to expanding the focus - please share your suggestions.
