[close] This is a book club-ish group designed to link women in the dance community around the world who are interested in personal growth, female empowerment, emotional and relationship navigation, and every other aspect that is encouraging for our souls and spirits to BLOSSOM! This is a place to share recommendations of powerful reading material that has a life changing potential with your sisters. This will be a read at your own pace, organically evolving group. My hope is that together we may continue to blossom/grow/evolve and ultimately change our world!

[close] Hi Everyone, I know that we are all so busy with our work, families, pursuing our interests, etc, but I thought I would start this group through Goodreads so that as lifelong learners, we have a place to explore some reading material together, promote conversations among our learning community, perhaps learn some new ideas and develop greater connections! Please feel free to suggest titles as we move through the rhythm of our school year. Our first book is The Innovator's Mindset:Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity by George Couros. I chose this book to kick us off because I think it communicates a great, positive message for us all as we start the year (some of us are going to be able to hear George Couros speak at the end of this month). I'll take the lead on posting some discussion prompts once every week and each member will be able to do the same. We will plan one in person gathering during each book cycle. If you have already read the book, please consider joining the group so that you can watch, read along and/or participate in our discussion. I hope to add a new book every six weeks or so.
