[close] This is a book club-ish group designed to link women in the dance community around the world who are interested in personal growth, female empowerment, emotional and relationship navigation, and every other aspect that is encouraging for our souls and spirits to BLOSSOM! This is a place to share recommendations of powerful reading material that has a life changing potential with your sisters. This will be a read at your own pace, organically evolving group. My hope is that together we may continue to blossom/grow/evolve and ultimately change our world!

[close] It is said that "Leaders are always readers" and in our busy academic life we barely have time to open anything other than the textbook and feel guilty if we do. Thus, here it is our goal to encourage one another to read daily; be it one sentence, one paragraph or one page.. FIRST GOAL). To become leaders we must be well-rounded and multi-dimentional in our understanding of the past and present (time and space). Thus to build upon the shoulders of those who put the pen to paper.. who knows you might be one of them one day.. SECOND GOAL Finally, reading alone is only part of the journey, it is in remembering and sharing that one develops true understanding.
