[close] Just another bookclub where we discuss our think pieces, make friends and enjoy reading. -This club will read mainly thriller books, but other genres are welcomed . -For now, we’ll discuss the books here, but maybe in the spring we can have our first in-person book meet?

[close] Hello everyone! (: I've decided to create a book club following the book ideas of Reese Whiterspoon because I'd like to read those books but with the interaction with other people that is missing on that book club, to be honest :/ Thank you so much if you'll do! Looking forward to discuss the books with you (:

[close] Want new readers/books? There are lots of groups where authors and readers can connect, right? That's probably what you're thinking. And that's a valid argument. But I want this group to be different in a few ways: 1) This is a place for encouragement- for downcast writers (no matter how they are published or what they write), for curious readers, and for connections. 2) This is a place for helping. Promoting your own work is acceptable -even encouraged- as long as it is done in an honest, non-spammy way. If you are spam, you go in the spam folder. Know where that is? Out of the group. *friendly smiles* 3) This is a place for us. Have fun! Make friends! Let's all enjoy this group to the fullest extent. There are, however, a few RULES (you will see these everytime you want to post something): 1) Feedback Please tell me what you think, how I can improve this group, and what you'd like to see added. This isn't my group. It's ours. 2) Promote your work honestly and selectively, but only in the groups for promoting. Choose a category that works for your book and an audience that will enjoy it. Otherwise, your efforts will be wasted and possibly cause you to go to the spam folder. Only promote your work in the promotion categories, which will be clearly labeled by genre. Failing to follow this rule won't make you many friends. Sorry. 3) Respect others. This is a group to have fun in. For everyone. Think of others before you post or comment. I'm watching... Always watching... 4) Create! You're encouraged to create: threads, polls, friends, thoughtful discussions, memories, happiness. Have some fun.
