[close] Hi! This group is for people struggling with mental illnesses. Please don’t post anything graphic. This isn’t about forcing people to recover- it’s about supporting each other and ourselves. There is never “not enough time” or “not enough resources” for you to get help. We are all here together, gathered in one place. You can meet people here and know that they have also struggled (or are struggling), and you won’t feel so alone anymore. You’ll meet people who get you.

[close] 1 in [8 to 15] kids have a learning difference, like dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia (handwriting), dyscalculia (math), auditory processing disorder, or sensory processing disorder. Other children have challenges with slow processing, executive function, social skills, or working memory. It's easy for these kids to fall through the cracks, but there are books to help! This group is for parents of children who have problems learning in school, even if it seems like "nothing." The author of Fine Until Kindergarten: A Parent's First Guide to Learning Differences shares some of her source books and looks for input from other parents.
