And like a house of cards, it could fall apart any moment.❞ Forests and desert, sand and rock, peaks and valleys: Rímben was long ago divided into four kingdoms to be ruled in peace, separate but united at the same time. No one knows their true origin, but myths abound. And every single one of them says that the kingdoms will prosper only when they stand together. But war is brewing. The Kingdom of Hearts has suffered long and deep at the injustice of its land. Barren, sandy, and filled with few resources and little power. Over the decades, its rulers have amassed a strong military force, the largest the continent has ever seen – had the other kingdoms bothered to look. Unbeknownst to the other three kingdoms, the Hearts have decided it is time to take matters into their own hands and claim land that will allow the people of the Kingdom of Hearts to prosper. The Hearts are attacking the other three kingdoms, aided by surprise, their immense military strength, comprising of land troops and cavalry, and their oracles’ and djinns’ powers. The other four kingdoms have marshalled hasty forces, made devious alliances, ready now that someone has made the first step to betray, lie, and scheme to get what they have always secretly wished. Behind the war, however, is another force: the Jokers. A sect from another continent, they have spread radical ideas throughout the four kingdoms and urged war, spurred by a prophecy no one understands. The stakes are high, and when you play the game of kingdoms, you win or you die.
