[close] Welcome to Cathy’s Ghost Club, a communal re-read of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights. Together, we’ll wander the moors, revisit Heathcliff and Catherine’s feral love, and explore how this novel’s gothic storms still echo in 2025. This project is part book club, part experiment in atmosphere: we’ll move through the text in sessions, share thoughts and favorite lines, and even soundtrack the moors with curated playlists. Expect ghosts, weather reports, and a few dramatic sighs along the way. We’re diving back into the novel in anticipation of the upcoming film adaptation (set for release on Valentine’s Day). The jury’s still out on how the film will capture the book’s wildness — but that makes it the perfect time to revisit the original and decide for ourselves what Wuthering Heights really is: tragic romance, gothic horror, or something stranger still. Whether you’re reading for the first time or returning to Thrushcross Grange and Wuthering Heights with new eyes, Cathy’s Ghost Club invites you to step into the wild, windswept world of Brontë’s masterpiece.
