Book Challenge

[close] Last year I did a reading bingo challenge and it was really fun. I want to say I DID NOT get bingo, as I picked my books wily nilly. In result, I read more than I have ever read in one year and really wanted to do that again. However, as I continue to search for the perfect reading challenge, I have found nothing that quite catches my fancy. Part of me was really interested in the A-to-Z challenge but I also know that there are some letters of the alphabet that will be difficult. I also want to personally attack my to be read pile, and that could be difficult if certain letters forced me to go out and get new books. I also like the idea of the read your name challenge. However, my name isn’t exactly going to make that easy. My maiden name is rare, and I don’t think there are authors with that name. My first name is not common and though there are bound to be authors with that name, the possibility of me enjoying said book is lower than say someone with the name Angela. So, I decided to make up a mishmash of the two challenges. I’m going to read a book for every letter in my name. Now my goal is to read my full name, plus my maiden name.
