Until it resettles back into that unknown place,
I never know when that black feeling will arrive,
Secretly, it slides in cold beneath my skin,
The mask I call my face washes over pale and bleak,
When I feel that numbing icy presence, I k

Great story, it got a little carried away with religous references and had a far too long GOV toilet paper monologue, but still quite enjoyable.

J.R.R. Tolkien
“I sit beside the fire and think
Of all that I have seen
Of meadow flowers and butterflies
In summers that have been

Of yellow leaves and gossamer
In autumns that there were
With morning mist and silver sun
And wind upon my hair

I sit beside the fire and think
Of how the world will be
When winter comes without a spring
That I shall ever see

For still there are so many things
That I have never seen
In every wood in every spring
There is a different green

I sit beside the fire and think
Of people long ago
And people that will see a world
That I shall never know

But all the while I sit and think
Of times there were before
I listen for returning feet
And voices at the door”
J.R.R. Tolkien

Philip K. Dick
“There will come a time when it isn't 'They're spying on me through my phone' anymore. Eventually, it will be 'My phone is spying on me'.”
Philip K. Dick

Philip K. Dick
“The problem with introspection is that it has no end.”
Philip K. Dick

Philip K. Dick
“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use them.”
Philip K. Dick

“Everything in life is just for a while.”
