But what if pushing through means cutting down and lowering your qualities and standards? Isn't it better to deliver the best you've got (even if it's not much) than to spew out sh*t that that lowers your cred just because you have to?

Wow, you replied! (I may or not be fangirling a bit right now.) Thank you so much, Kasie! I do finish projects, but I guess I feel "lesser" compared to other people--mainly friends, who always seem to be able to finish their projects. It's so easy to fall into the comparison trap as a writer. That said, it really helps me knowing that I'm not alone in my writing struggles--especially when I know that one of my favorite authors shares some of those struggles. I feel a lot better. Once again, thank you so much for the great advice! It's much appreciated!
