Jenn Cunningham Hi, sorry but I just found the message - I wasn't ignoring you. I had to re-read this along with the original answer I commented on. In City of Sorcery Magda and Jaelle's daughters were in the 5-9 age range I think. In the 1985 anthologie Free Amazons of Darkover Susan Schwartz had submitted a story called growing pains. Catriona had run away from the Thendara guildhouse and was caught listening in on a conversation between Magda Lorne and an unnamed Federation man. It comes around in 1991 anthologie Leroni of Darkover, and Lana Young's story Homecoming where she returns to Darkover after 5 years away and reunites with Camilla at the Guildhouse.

Deborah Ross Jenn, that's marvelous. I'm struck, yet again, by the imagination of the authors who have over the years contributed to the anthologies.
