Hmmm "they weren't together yet" is a total copout excuse I've seen used in many books. Yet seconds later he's trying to get with her? Can't have it both ways. He should've had to work to get in her good books. As to her respecting him telling her, yeah sure ok. In any "love" story, I would hope the woman had some self respect and didn't just cave and immediately accept his lame excuse for sticking it to another woman a second earlier. I'm over books where he fucks up and just gets away with it with no fuss like it's no big deal. Really? He admitted he hurt her because he was angry, so he KNEW he did wrong. So it there was something there that he decided to shit on by sleeping with Lesley. So shame on him. Appreciate your getting back to me anyway.
