Adriana Locke I'm sorry you feel this way. Cane being with Lesley, before he had committed to Jada, was really a turning point in his character, I think. It made him realize he didn't want THAT anymore. He, for the first time, wanted to be with one woman (Jada) and for it to mean something. I don't think Jada loved that he did it, but respected he told her. After all, they weren't together yet. Just flirting around, really. He didn't sleep with anyone else after that moment. But, that's the beauty of books—we can all have different opinions. Thank you for giving it a shot. I'm sorry you didn't connect with it.
