As a newbie to Kindle, how do you look that up on a Kindle? I just bought one and do not like books with vulgar language.
I don't have my Kindle with me at the moment. On my iPhone with the Kindle app I just search the word and it has the number of times it occurs in brackets in the top corner of the search page and then a long list of all the occurrences.
Lol, it only doesn't reflect real life if you don't know anybody who swears under pressure or in arguments. For most people of my generation (I'm an older millennial), swears are just for emphasis. They're only words. People make too much fuss about some of them. I avoid gendered epithets, but I still swear when I feel like it, because again: words. There are far more harmful words in the English language than the two listed here.
