Indeed, I did see that three of your characters worked with/for Rupert in your novels, and as I'd wanted more I though to find out if he'd ever have his own novel were you to write more HF set during the Civil War. My question was prompted also because there's not many HF with him as the protagonist; the existing batch is quite poor, and even the novel hailed as the best about him, "The Stranger Prince" by Margaret Irwin, was dated and unsatisfying to me, and given your talent, I thought you might consider writing one yourself.
I definitely understand that you'd find his later years not nearly as interesting, neither do I. :) I appreciate that you've not ruled out the possibility completely, it means I can live in the hope!
Can't wait for Eden's story! My favourite of the R&C series has been Francis/Pauline. Somehow you made this dashing Cavalier + curmudgeon French actress formula work well. To me, they stole the thunder from the protagonist couple.
