message 6: by Alex (new)

Alex The whole riftwar saga, about 20 books.
Wheel of time and a series by robin hobb called the farseer trilogy. Joe Abercrombie if you like dark fantasy:D

message 7: by Danny (new)

Danny Mark Lawrence's Broken Empire series are really great too. Besides that I suggest the Mistborn novels from Sanderson. Because you really can't get enough of his writing

message 8: by Alastair (new)

Alastair McDermott I wasn't a fan of Night Angel series, but Lightbringer is really awesome.

And Mistborn, but that should be taken for granted :)

message 9: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Joe Abercrombie's First Law trilogy! It is completed and there are a few follow-up stand alone books.

The Culture Series

message 13: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Dailey Mistborn trilogy, bartimaous trilogy+side story, cirque du freak, chronicles of nick, ink heart trilogy, Bobby pendragon series.

message 14: by Samir (new)

Samir Krishnamurti Anthony Ryan, Scott Lynch (tho he's in the same mold as GRRM and rothfuss), and the incredible Jay Kristoff, from the new lot. More old school, NK Jemsin, Robin Hobb, and Ken Liu's dandelion series, which is the best non white man's fantasy I've ever read.
