Thank you for your thoughts/feedback. The odd thing is, I didn't understand the crimes Maggie did or why. I felt her character was under developed.
I think the book said her crime was conspiracy, means she helped after the fact of the murder to cover it up.
Maggie was definitely a sociopath (at best) and psychopath (at worst). She was totally fine with someone killing innocent Abigail to keep her from opening her mouth someday. She had a long history of disturbing behavior and she always got away with it, until the end when she ended up in some sort of rehabilitation facility.
