Yes! Yes! Sheesh, so happy to see that's an actual thing...and not...you know, my own procrastinate-y/lazy/blockedness. Which what I always suspect, unless I'm actually putting words to paper. Last night I heard myself growl " how can I write when my characters won't talk to each other!" Then it suddenly exploded into my head that while the MC was important, a secondary character's motivations were the true engine behind the plot of this. The talking in my head shall commence at any moment.
