Poorva Parashar I haven't seen any such anime but please tell me some names because I'd like to understand this genre a bit more. I feel like some sort of world is being hidden from me but I legitimately don't understand it :p

Orinoco Womble (tidy bag and all) There's more Edipus than anime here, to my mind. Sleeps with his mother and kills his father? Classic Greek tragedy stuff.

Michayla I think that was the whole point, personally I felt like he said a lot while saying next to nothing at all. It's sort of fill in the blanks, where a lot of American novelists feel they need to spell everything out for you... Here Murakami is giving you all you need to figure it out for yourself.

Mihai Dascălu That is the beauty of Murakami. You take part in the story. You are in the plot since you try to understand it for yourself. It seems that the writer has written the book for you alone. I for one like these kind of books that do not finish after the last page.
