Horror? IMHO, there was no horror. It was as horror-free as Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House. I don't get it. I agree it was way too long. Dont know why I bothered to finish it. I guess I hoped it would get better. Wish I had that time back! Ill give you the name of a good book if you want to be scared: Black and Blue by Anna Quindlan. Now, THATS scary!
