Calliope (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Calliope (Ancient Greek: Καλλιόπη Kalliopē "beautiful-voiced") was the muse of epic poetry, daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and is believed to be Homer's muse, the inspiration for the Odyssey and the Iliad.
