Neil Macpherson
Neil Macpherson (b. 1765) was a farmer at Tullichiero, in Glen Banchor, Badenoch, Scotland. He was a son of Thomas Macpherson of Glen Seig and Janet Mackintosh of Tullichiero. He was still farming at Tullichiero in 1792, but by 1796, the year of his marriage to Isabella Clark, he had become a tenant on the other side of the River Calder. Neil and Isabella were among the last residents of Tullichiero to have children there before it was cleared or sheep. By 1826, Neil and his family were established in a small farm at Craggan, behind Newtonmore.
