Draco Malfoy, from an ancient, rich, pureblood wizarding family is an antagonist in the Harry Potter series. He is a constant enemy of Harry Potter's, and becomes a Death Eater in the sixth book but is basically used as Voldemort's pawn to punish his father, who messed up a crucial mission (in the fifth book). To do this, Voldemort assigns Draco the task of killing Dumbledore - either Draco fails, and suffers his master's wrath, or he fails and dies in the process. Malfoy, however, survives and goes on to be used to torture Voldemort's captives.…more
