Close friend of Wrexford’s from their days at Oxford. Younger son of a marquess—a penurious one. Kit is thus often bored and frustrated because he cannot afford the luxuries his peers can. He often stops by Wrexford’s home for a drink and a chat. Pretends to be indolent, but has an active mind and becomes a help to Wrexford in solving mysteries.
