Does anyone else feel that this is essentially just a plagiarised Version of vampire Academy, complete with the same characters, mythology and world building as the original?

hiii, this series sounds amazing, Im just wondering if it gets graphic cause I don't wanna read anything too explicit? :)

This feels like Vampire academy rip-off. Also one of the basic think that goes over the head is basically half-blood is the only protection against daimons, so if all half-blood guard and sentinel said fuck it and left to human world what happens. More so why it did not happen?, pure blood have literally no control over them; not buying the mind control thing at all.

Is it that kind of book where good girl falls in love with the bad guy and he suddenly has only eyes for her because she’s so different but doesn’t know her at all? And then she becomes a bad girl as well and also the hero, the only one who could’ve saved them?
