Part way through book 2, I hope the series gets better? I'm about to quit where I am. Murphy is pissing me off right now. She is way to unstable and emotional to be a police Lieutenant. And don't get me started on Dresden. He's acting like a putz.

Where can I buy an inexpensive hardcover copy of Fool Moon (and any other Dresden Files book, really)? I bought the first one on Amazon for the normal hardcover price, but when I went to get Fool Moon, I couldn't find a price less than $80. If there's any place to buy these books in hardcover that are reasonably priced, please let me know!

If I wasn't able to get it there I would check them out at the library. If you look below the description it says Amazon, other sellers, and Libraries. I'm curious. Have many of you stopped and Karin Murphy as a man. The same attitude, actions, and apparent motivations. He'd have been a despised bully and hypocrite! Am I the only one seeing this?

I understand why she's in this series, and I did get to the point where I could at least tolerate her, but the people who think she and Harry are just a match made in Heaven are apparently blind.(less)

I finished Storm Front and thought it was disappointing. One of the biggest problems for me was every character but Dresden I felt was never developed enough and felt most of them were Static. Do the characters get any better in this book or in future books? Would like to continue but don't know if this series gets any better.
