Can I read this book without reading the firsts books? My sister bought me this book without knowing that it was part of a serie of books. Can I read it, understand it and enjoy it? Or I need to buy the other books? Help!

This is the last of the Robot Quartet by Isaac Asimov and I assumed it to be a great conclusion which it indeed was but I feel that some mystery wasn't solved at the ending of the book (I am not talking about it in hope to not give spoilers but I hope you understood). Will anyone tell in which of Asimov's novels this story is continued (Without giving any spoilers)?
