Patterson either has really good thrillers, which I re-read or really boring, tedious ones with too much gore, which I don't finish.(less)

I watch Dateline, 20/20, 48 Hours, etc. all the time and I barely made it through the first three chapters because they were so ugly. But they are serial killers. It's definately not a cozy mystery so if you don't want to read a lot of blood, gore, and violence this is not your book. However, I really got into the characters and wanted to know how they were pulling off the murders so I kept reading. I did finish the book. But it's not my favorite James Patterson. (less)
