I hate that word 'fecking' it's irritating. I can stand petunia but that f word wants me to edit the book remove that offensive word and rewrite them with its proper fucking form....so who's with me? PS: why can't Mac let her blond hair show? Is it profiling? Can't blondes be badass?

Can another Karen Marie Moning fan, who particularly enjoyed Darkfever/ Faefever point me in the direction of this sort of read? All the books KMM has written are personal favorites, but after the Darkfever and Faefever experience I was speachless. The first pages of one and the final few of the other wed the two in my mind seemlessly. The descriptive awe and horror, alternately chilling and hot... memorable!

Does any body else think it can benefit the Fever experience by reading the Highlander books first/ also? Then start Darkfever and so on? The books are all great in this series. So is KMM's earlier lighter romance. I loved the Immortal Highlander and Dark Highlander. Completely seperate, thete is some character visitation.

You’ll also learn more of KMM raucous science fiction/ fantasy brain when you see more relics and the lore behind some doomed happenings. Ultimately, KMM over the span of Highlander novels builds an encompassing world where you’ll be fully submerged with all that is Fae. Her world building is thorough! And it began with the Druids!

Haha so yes, if you haven’t already, I’d implore you to read her time traveling romances! And the Dreaming! (less)
