At the same time, the characterisation of the characters is non-consistent, having even the main character being much different in books and in the game.(less)

Quite a bit of general battle violence, some brief but quite startlingly graphic descriptions of brutal violence among them which increase as the series goes on. Mostly okay sexual content, but a few graphic instances, again. Not a lot of swearing in the first book (several "ar--", a couple of "s---"s - the swearing increases and includes several f-words as the series goes on. Definitely adult - suggested perhaps 15+, Blood of Elves is considerably milder than later ones in the series. (less)

In Sword of Destiny there are two important stories as well, Sword of Destiny and Something More (still not gonna spoil them). The other stories just provide a bit of background on some characters (Dandelion, Mother Nenneke, etc.) and provide some cool easter eggs for the games (like how Geralt got the nickname the Butcher of Blaviken or that time Yennefer says they were hunting a dragon).
If you just want the important stuff just read the summaries on the wiki page, but if you want to read everything you can find them on Amazon.
Hope it helps.(less)
