Why does another book with Andrew at the helm of the Reacher series continue to get star 4-5 star ratings when it's clear that the character of Jack Reacher is such a shadow looking for some sunlight? After Better Off Dead, I took the hint and decided to bury my love for Lee Child's original creation. Everything I loved about writing style, character development, and plot lines are gone. Is #27 really worth it?

The last book (Better Off Dead) was the last straw. There is nothing left of Lee Child's original character and personality and that was what kept me coming back. I don't even know why Lee has allowed his name to continue as the "star" author. Sorry, but I'm done. (less)
