big fan of lindsay's channel, but i really am worried if this is similar to Hank Green's book (i fucking hated that book so much.) I can't get the audibook cuz i can't stomach Philosophy tubes voice .. so im just gonna get the hardcover. ?

I would argue Axiom's End has a much different tone than Hank Green's novels. I loved the ideas presented in Green's books, but I couldn't stand the irreverent attitudes of the characters. Axiom's End and Remarkable Things do present some similar themes, but I found Ellis more serious, and thus enjoyed it much more. I can't recommend Axiom's End enough.(less)

Sooo...I really liked this book until the last page. Rushed? That final sentence had me rereading and rereading...head tilt. Am I the only one missing the meaning and feeling like that was a 'wrap'? Thanks!

Why "Axiom" and "Noumena"? These terms have very precise meanings in logic and epistemology, but from the book's summary it's not obvious why they are being used as this book and series title. no spoilers please, if the answer involves a spoiler just say so.
