So I read this whole damn thing and still don't know wtf actually happened, if anyone would like to post a detailed, spoilery synopsis. What was the link between the past and present storylines? What was with the yellow jackets and the seaweed and the sludge?

This book is apparently 608 pages - that's pretty long. Does it drag, or make you lose interest at points?

Reading some other reviews, it seems some people think it does drag. But personally, I loved every page of this and would love if there had been even more. Honestly, I read it as an arc on my netgalley app and I did not even realize how long it was until I came to review it on goodreads.(less)
