It is hard to come up with something in the same category as another awesome and incredible book as twilight. This is not the first book that anyone has probably read that uses the say story line. The thing about this book is that Tracy Wolff puts her own story and makes it her own. You can't ignore the fact that she is a great author with her own style.(less)

Depending on the culture a Daisy can represent innocence, purity, or lasting love, new beginnings etc etc. Whichever it means I thought the daisy plus the blood was a symbol of something like "deadly new beginnings".

If you look at the book covers on the entire series, I think each object represents the character and how their journey in this new world affected them. Book 1 the MC was innocent and unknowing hence the Daisy, but that innocence causes her to be put on the chopping block. This is just a personal thought though so don't quote me on it lol. (less)
