Do I need to have read all the previous books of the "Robot" series to enjoy this book?

Irene I think you can understand the story, but there is a lot of previous information that is needed to enjoy it 100%

I have tried to read some of the Foundation novels written by authors other than Asimov, but I was not impressed. What experiences have other readers had with non-Asimov robot novels, such as the Robot City series and the Robots and Aliens series?

I was wondering why this book is not available as e-book in the UK, but yet available in this format in other countries?

Does anyone know where I can get a Pdf version of this book? For some reason Amazon have it listed as 'currently unavailable'.
