I love my eReader! It’s the best thing ever.

The main obvious bonus is that I can take 1000’s of books with me wherever I go and all at a very tiny weight. It’s all touch screen, the screen is all backlit for easy reading at all times of the day & night, also the only button is on/off and it’s waterproof. The average eReader charge lasts for days (of constant reading) and up to around a month of standby (mine’s longer).

Don’t get me wrong - I don’t think that you can’t beat the feeling of a book in your hands (esp one you’ve been really, REALLY WAITING to be released and read!!) - but it’s good to keep as an option, if for no reason other than most authors these days write novellas or shorts and post them on their website for free monthly.

I’ve discovered lots of new authors & series’ thanks to my eReader (it recommends similar type books at the end of reading a book) that I never would’ve even heard of, or most likely, even discovered.

I’ve got books that I buy only in paperback (usually my faourite series’) but alot of the time, I’ll have an ecopy also for my “main titles”.(less)

There are a few allusions to The King and couple of other characters from the BDB world, but only as place markers to secure the story. This story stands on it's own and is not a 'teaser' to future BDB books. I LOVED this story!(less)
