There is no sex, just some kissing between two characters. There is an LGBTQ character who is friends with the protagonist. There is no violence. The topic of ALS is, at times, serious weight, as are the implications of having the condition. I am a middle school teacher and I would recommend it for 9th grade and up.(less)
