I love this book also all the movies and shows! I love how much detail is in this book it makes me so happy! I wonder why toothless is so small in this book instead of like the movie? and i also wonder why snoutlout is so rude to everybody he is not the chiefs son!

I also noticed a lot of differences, but I guess that's because everything in the book can't be put into the movies (though I wish they'd make the movies more like the books are).

As for Snoutlout, he's a lot better at all of those Viking activities, and stronger, too, so he thinks he's superior. And this isn't true. Hope this helped!(less)

Addison Dixon They are very different. But I love them both the same. The movies are amazing and the books are awesome. In my opinion.
