Can I start this series with this book? I only have books 4, 5 6. Also, Im really fussy with books in terms of their writing, plot, and characters. What are this series' weaknesses?

Ann Friedman It is best start at the beginning with this series. There is so much plot and character building in the first three books that you would miss.

It would be easy to infer much of it but getting to know these characters is a great pleasure.
This is one series that I have read numerous times; the characters are like old friends.(less)
