Why does anyone care about what she has to say in this book? Enough books from Hillary and Bill and whatever profits they reap. I am no longer interested in Hillary as a potential future candidate and will not vote for her again.

Why do so many men dislike Hilary so intensely? I have not yet bought this book. Hope to get it in paperback soon. Can't understand what it is about her that causes people to call her these awful names. She is a successful woman, and efficient operator and a caring person. She has my vote over and over. We're taught- implicitly or explicitly, and from a young age- that women are not supposed to be loud, aggressive, brash, dominant, confident, or forceful. Hillary is all these things, for better or for worse, and that threatens the status quo. Anything that threatens the status quo is going to be rallied against by people who have a stake in the system staying the way it is.(less)

I'd like to read this book for sure, but have to ask if I'm the only person scratching my head at people pre-rating a book as five stars apparently in order to stop the Trump supporters from rating it down? I mean, this is a platform for honest reviews. So how is it okay to pre review? Wait for the book, READ it, and then give an honest review please. All these people are doing is demonstrating that they're dishonest

And I don't bother with any reviews of a book written before publication to the general public. Publishing houses send out advance copies to people they know will rave about any book sent to them for free. I think maybe 75% of the reviews here are honest, you just have to find those reviewers.(less)

I have to ask GR community this one fundamental question. Who will take the time to read this book and review it for it content rather than their own political bias? Where are the current affairs (history buffs) that read Game Change and Decision Points for the desire of understanding another point of view? Those are the reviews and intellectual considerations that should go into reading this book.

Although I wouldn't say that GAME CHANGE is very good for understanding another point of view. 2/3 of it are about the Democrats, with the Republican primary squeezed into the last 1/3. The Democratic section is biased in favor of Obama pretty heavily. I liked Obama, but the way he was portrayed in comparison to Clinton and Edwards was drastically different, with the two latter being vilified, and the Republican section portrayed Palin as a sort of bewildered cartoon character (in my opinion). WHAT HAPPENED is a good book because it's personal, and it shows the mind of a candidate who got the shortest end of the short end of the stick in the last two races she campaigned in.(less)
