I read a review which said there were many pages of detailed descriptions of physical, psychological and sexual abuse that there should have has trigger warnings. Is that true? How is that entertaining to read?

In answer to your question, yes. There are descriptions of a wide variety of abusive behaviors in this book, and it certainly could be triggering for some. (less)

I am about 160 pages in and this seems oddly like the same plot as The Wife Between Us. I want to finish it but am I going to be disappointed or surprised??????
