I watched the movie of the first book and I loved it so I decided to get the books but since I watched the movie I thought i would just read the second, would i be able to read the second book without reading the first one or are there things that the movie leaves out?

Just watching the movie wasn’t enough I had to go skim through the first book and even then it was a bit confusing starting the second one. So the short answer is I would read the first book also. A lot is left out of the movie. (less)
