I watched the movie of the first book and I loved it so I decided to get the books but since I watched the movie I thought i would just read the second, would i be able to read the second book without reading the first one or are there things that the movie leaves out?

Anu I would say that you technically could just jump straight into the second book if you wanted, but things might make more sense to you if you actually read the first book. The movie does change or leave some things out :)
