It says "timed for Christmas" does anyone know if these stories are Christmas themed?

For this edition of Paris for One that includes a collection of short stories, does anyone here know if the 8 other short stories have actually already been published in some other format (and outside of the US) in the past? I already read Paris for One earlier this year, but was wondering if it would be worth it to grab a copy of this one as well.

I'm confused... Can some on please explain to me the difference between (Paris for one) and (the girl you left behind) because the way some reviews made it seem as that you get some parts of one in the other?
