Very disappointed in the last 30 pages or so. It's like he got tired of writing and just said, "So this is what happened." All narrative. The last chapter is a waste as well. Sounds like he had a time limit and stopped typing when the bell rang in the middle of a paragraph. Story is somewhat interesting. Characters not so much.(less)

While the casino and gambling aspect is part and parcel of the story, you are not going to find loads of entertainment about that. I enjoyed the book but so many others haven't. Yes pick it up and read it. (less)
