Would it be better to read "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" before this?

For the practitioner, Yes…moreI have read all of Cialdini's books in order of publication. Influence was good from a thoroughness and academic standpoint. For the practitioner, Yes! is better because if contains less theory and more (50, actually) practical examples. Pre-Suasion expresses a great concept and it provides some of the academic rationale behind it. It's lacking, however, in hands-on. It does offer solid and concrete example, but it repeats those examples throughout the book without providing a good blueprint or system for practicing pre-suasion on your own. (less)
