I am reading this book, and had the same experience as Tempest. I was enjoying the book until it came to a certain point, and I simply could not read any further. When I read, I AM the person in the story. I just could not go through the traumatizing, excruciatingly painful, horrible event. Has anyone else not been able to finish this book?

I have heard of that "terrible thing" which happens in this book happening in real life. It is a sad fact--as are many things in the world.

Christians celebrate Christ's birth at Christmas, and he came into this world to die for us sinners and that his death will redeem us from our sins. The love and hope brought to two sinners in Mistletoe Promise is a worthy Christmas story and is missed by those who do not read beyond that horrible event.(less)
