Is anyone else put off by the recipes included in a book about an abusive marriage?

Did anyone notice that in two different places the books refers to more then one child but Grace only has one child? In chapter 17 it reads "They have a number of cars - Ted drives a newish Volvo Estate, she has a small Mercedes that she loves; there is a very old Volvo they carted all the kids and their friends around in when they were small..." And one other place I can't find now.

I found so many mistakes in the beginning, it became too hard to take this book seriously. Did anyone notice in the beginning she said she decided to take a cooking class when her daughter went to middle school and on the very next page se said she was in a class with mostly other students her daughters age?? I don't think she meant 12 year olds?? Didn't she proofread?

Anybody notice at least two instances of "sheaths of paper" ? Um, I think that should be "sheaves of paper".
