When I finish this one, I'll be giving it away on twitter (@mocando). It was given to me in a similar way from Ramon de la Fuente (@f_u_e_n_t_e). It won't be a for keeps thing. Amanda, how did you work up the courage to ask for help? How do you thank those who help you. Is it different to ask those whom you know personally vs. the anonymous kickstarter crowd? As you may guess from these questions, I have trouble accepting help when it is offered, much less asking for help. Are asking for and accepting help truly life-changing behaviors? Thanks!

The best bumper sticker I ever saw read "Artwork IS Work." It has been a slow transition for me to seek support for my writing, even when it's something a simple as leaving a "clickable tip-jar" on my posted writings. Logic says that one is only asking one's due as a creator, yet asking for tips or running a Patreon smacks of "selling out." How would address that stumbling block in one short sentence?
