I love David Baldacci's books, but I'm 1/3 the way into The Escape and just can't seem to pick it back up when I put it down. Does it get better? Seems to get good reviews...Do I give up?

Is “The Escape” suitable and enjoyable for a 15 year old?

I love David Baldacci’ s books but I cant just turn the page with The Escape. I seem to be getting confused with all the terms , acronyms and car chase episode. Its slowing my pace and my interest . Is the final worth my time?

The most straightforward way to discover the truth about what happened on the night of the escape is conducting interviews with the MPs and the guards who were involved. Why doesn't Puller take this route? or at least consider it?

In reality, can a Chief Warrent Officer like Puller actually tell officers what to do? Or, is it a matter of force of personality?

I really enjoyed this book. I like all the ones with John Puller. I read it in one sitting--hard to put down. I hope there's a sequel. I'd like to see John & his brother find a woman who can make them happy, tho I don't think John can really "settle down". I think he lives for the excitement in his life.,I find him very intuitive and resourceful. What do other readers think?
